Among my photography relationships, the one I have with street/urban photography can often feel the most complex and taxing on me. In there chaos, cities can be right up in your face with their beauty or they can hide it in a way that you need to be extremely observant to appreciate. Like any relationship a city will tantalize you with its shapes, she will stop you in your tracks while you wait for everything to come together, and with her, nothing ever stays the same. You can even find yourself even needing some space at times to figure things out, which is what I have had to do for a while in order to understand how all of these images I create walking through my city Seattle should be published.
That's why I am trying to get back to blogging and showcase my Street & Urban photography all on its own instead of being a product of one of my other columns I used to be more active on. The key with the blog, is that with my blog I can post more than a single image for you to enjoy, while not being on such a rigid schedule to go through recent shots and get everything online so quickly.
I hope you enjoy the above which are my favorite Street/Urban images from the last two weeks.
